About the product
The ultimate fuel maintenance bundle for testing diesel for microbial contamination and checking for/removing the water content that causes the diesel bug to grow in boats and small fuel storage tanks. The bundle contains a FUELSTAT testing kit to detect the presence of harmful diesel bug that can result in sludge that blocks filters and engines and an Aquafighter water absorber that can prevent the problem at the source.
FUELSTAT is a rapid diagnostic fuel test using immunoassay antibodies to identify the presence of microbial contamination, commonly known as diesel bug, in fuel systems. The test kit is designed for immediate application at any location where fuel is stored or used, delivering reliable, accurate results within just 15 minutes.
To remove the water that causes the diesel bug, an Aquafighter Lite fuel tank water absorber can be placed into the opening of the fuel tank, to quickly absorb any free and suspended water, leaving the diesel clear and water free.

How do I use the Aquafighter?
The Aquafighter Finger is small enough to be added directly into the fill point of a piece of agricultural or plant machinery. You can leave it to absorb the water content in the fuel whilst the engine is not running, and remove it when it is. This makes it ideal for ensuring fuel is kept water-free when equipment is not in use.
How do I install the Aquafighter?
The Aquafighter fuel tank water absorber is designed to be lowered directly to the bottom of the fuel tank, and that the cord is secured outside of the tank for easy retrieval for inspection and replacement. For full instructions click here.
Should I worry about the Aquafighter expanding too much?
No. The Aquafighter fabric membrane is designed to resist expansion even when full. This is designed so that there is zero risk of removing it from the tank when it is full.
