About the product
New from Italian manufacturer Piusi, the Panther EX56 is an ATEX approved 230v fuel transfer pump, built with the renowned Panther pump quality that has been trusted in the fuel market for over 20 years.
The genuine AC motor allows for continuous running for uninterrupted dispensing and larger scale fuel transfer, with no duty cycle like its predecessor the Piusi EX50, and a better flow rate compared to others of 56lpm.
This ATEX pump is designed for the transfer of petrol, kerosene, JetA1, Avgas, diesel, and HVO in a zone one environment, as they satisfy the European directives for explosion proof equipment.
This mains-powered, self-priming ATEX fuel pump has a sturdy, cast iron body, and thanks to its quality manufacturing has a long life span. A version with a drum connector and nozzle switch are available.
These pumps are ATEX certified II2 G Ex db h IIB T4 Gb.

What is an ATEX pump?
When dispensing petrol, kerosene or diesel in a zone one area, specially certified ATEX pumps need to be used. These are safe for use with lower flash point liquids. Available in our ATEX approved petrol transfer pump range are both mains powered and 12v fuel transfer pumps, that are specified for zone one applications. We also stock manual hand petrol transfer ATEX pumps for a cost effective solution.
