About the product
The Piusi K33 ATEX approved mechanical fuel flow meter measures the amount of diesel, petrol or kerosene that has been transferred via a nutating disk system. Suitable for use in flammable environments thanks to its ATEX certification, this fuel counter meter is able to measure up to 999.9 litres. K33 ATEX flow meter has a mechanical display that indicates to the user how much fuel has been used. Manufactured in Italy by Piusi, the K33 petrol and diesel flow meters are reliable, simple to install and calibrate solutions, whilst still being cost-effective due to its mechanical rather than electronic nature.
Thanks to its flow range, the Piusi K33 diesel fuel flow meter is suitable for many pump and gravity installations. This combined with the fact that its face can be rotated to allow fuel to flow through in four alternative directions makes the ATEX Piusi K33 flow meter a flexible option. If you do not need an ATEXT version, we offer the Piusi K33 meter, suitable for dispensing diesel fuel or oil.
Please note: If being used with HVO, the meter should be re-calibrated based on it's SG of 0.78 (diesel is 0.84).

Can the Piusi K33 ATEX flow meter be used in a gravity fed installation?
In most normal gravity fed tank installations, the minimum flow rate required for the Piusi K33 ATEX fuel flow meter to accurately count is unlikely to be continuously achieved. It could be possible if the tank was positioned high enough and kept full enough for the weight of the fuel to provide a quicker flow rate. However, for guaranteed use, we would only recommend the K24 fuel flow meter.
My installation does not flow left to right, can I still use the Piusi K33 ATEX meter?
The ATEXT Piusi K33 fuel flow meter is supplied as standard flowing left to right, however, the face can easily be rotated 90⁰. This will allow you to install the Piusi K33 with the flow from any four directions.
