About the product
Introducing the latest innovation from Italian manufacturer Piusi: the wall-mounted plated Panther EX56 kit, an ATEX-approved 230V fuel transfer pump. This model upholds the exceptional Panther pump quality that has been a staple in the fuel industry for decades.
Equipped with a genuine AC motor, the Panther EX56 supports continuous operation for seamless fuel dispensing and large-scale transfers, eliminating the duty cycle limitations of its predecessor, the Piusi EX50. It also boasts an improved flow rate of 56 litres per minute.
Designed for the safe transfer of petrol, kerosene, diesel, and HVO in zone one environments, this ATEX pump complies with European explosion-proof equipment directives, and is ATEX certified II2 G Ex db h IIB T4 Gb.
The mains-powered, self-priming pump features a robust cast iron body, ensuring durability and a long lifespan. This wall mounted ATEX pump also comes with a K33 ATEX flow meter, auto nozzle, 4m delivery hose and an ATEX approved Cim-Tek Ultimate Defense® Hydroglass water filter.
A flexible cable gland is available separately under code – F2702400A, which can be found under 'accessories' in the product table.

What is an ATEX pump?
When dispensing petrol, kerosene or diesel in a zone one area, specially certified ATEX pumps need to be used. These are safe for use with lower flash point liquids. Available in our ATEX approved petrol transfer pump range are both mains powered and 12v fuel transfer pumps, that are specified for zone one applications. We also stock manual hand petrol transfer ATEX pumps for a cost effective solution.
What applications can ATEX pumps be used for?
Our ATEX pumps are ideal for dispensing flammable liquids in applications such as: race/rally motorsport, quad/motorbikes, ground maintenance e.g.: lawnmowers, forest tools, golf course buggies, boats/leisure craft e.g.: jet skis, and refilling heating oil tanks when tanker access is difficult.
