Saturday 8th July saw some of the CTS team brave cold water, mud, fire, heights and some very tight spaces all in the name of charity!

A nervous yet excited 14 CTS team members arrived at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham not knowing entirely what to expect of the X Runner Water Wipeout event...but soon found out!!

CTS Team

Between the 5km of running there was open water swimming, mud slides, underground tunnels, jumping from heights, vertical walls and lots more! Needless to say on finishing we hit the Pimms and Prosecco bar (even before the showers!). Talking of the showers, it was amusing to see our very own Site Buddy engine driven water pump supporting the facilities.

Cancer Research was selected as the team's chosen charity, and have so far raised just less than £2000 for the worthy cause. We have had some very generous customers already donate that we would like to thank very much. We are still £60 off our target of £2000 so if anyone would like to give us a final boost please kindly donate on our Justgiving page.
