CTS Celebrates Longstanding Team Members By Introducing Employee Recognition Day

This year, Managing Director Matthew Terry made the decision to honour longstanding staff members by holding an Employee Recognition Day, in a push to recognise those who have dedicated many years of service to the business.
It is standard procedure for CTS to hold celebrations for those who have been at the company for 20 years and more, but Matthew made the decision to also honour those who have served 10 and 15 years. He acknowledged that in this day and age, it is rare to see such long-term loyalty and dedication in an ever changing industry and job market, especially with constant changes to society and added pressures including the rise in the cost of living.
The employees were recognised at an event held on Tuesday 3rd December surrounded by the wider team, with each celebrated member receiving their milestone certificate and a gift voucher of their choosing as a token of appreciation. Whilst addressing the wider team at the event, Matthew spoke highly of the awardees, and said:
We value everybody that works here at CTS, however long they’ve been here, but we have a group of people that have worked here between 10 and 20 years that we want to take a step back and recognise, and show our appreciation for. To all of you, from myself and on behalf of the company, thank you for your service to the business, they are impressive milestones, and we want to celebrate that. Congratulations!

David Hughes - Senior Operations Technician - 15 Year Milestone

"Rob is entering his 18th year at CTS. He is widely recognised within the Industry and most key customers and suppliers have regular dealings with Rob. He originally joined the business to head up the technical department and improve the IT infrastructure. Rob over time has become the face of CTS in various sectors."
Michelle Jackson - Marketing Manager - 10 Year Milestone
"Michelle joined CTS as a marketing assistant over 13 years ago now. With her drive in a traditional market to improve the business brand and digital presence, she has taken large steps to move the company forward. Michelle now heads the marketing for the CTS Group of companies. Thank you, Michelle."
Debra Dogan - Finance Manager - 10 Year Milestone
"Debra joined CTS 13 years ago as the company accountant. At a time when the business needed improved financial management, Deb joined and gave the business the next step it needed. As the CTS Group of companies has grown, Deb is now the CTS Group Head of Finance. Well done and Thanks Deb."

Recognised Employee - Claire Green
Those recognised also spoke of their time at CTS, and when asked what had encouraged them to dedicate long periods of time to the business, they all spoke highly of feeling supported and appreciated by the company and the wider group. Internal Sales Assistant Claire had this to say on her time at CTS:
I was 23 when I started working here and I cannot believe how the years have flown. I have always felt supported and appreciated, and feel I have grown so much with the business. I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. I feel really lucky to have been part of CTS’s journey for such a long time, so really, it’s thanks to them for having me!
