Purafiner fuel conditioners and fuel filtration units
As well as filters, we offer other products for cleaning your fuel that we refer to as fuel conditioners. The fuel filtration units we offer are basically mobile trolley kits complete with pump, hose, nozzle and filter for pumping fuel out of one container, filtering it and transferring it elsewhere. Also available are the Purafiner range of conditioners, which essentially break down the large clumps of bacteria caused by water contamination into smaller particles able to be filtered out by a standard filter.

Yes, the fuel circulation unit can be retrofitted to an existing tank if the installer fits the required drop pipes at the front and back of the tank, ensuring complete circulation of the contents.
When installed onto an existing tank, the contents should first undergo a fuel polishing process, as there is a chance that the biofilm that the recirculation unit works to prevent may already have been formed.
The CTS Fuel Recirculation Unit is designed to prevent diesel fuel inside a storage tank from getting stagnant. It regularly recirculates the fuel, so these bugs are not allowed to settle and grow. The system draws the fuel up from the front of the tank through a magnetic conditioner, which breaks down the bacteria to a size that allows them to pass through two conventional water and particle filters. This final filtration process removes any impurities before circulating the fuel back into the tank.
The CTS recirculation system turns over 1.5 times the tank capacity every 28 days - By not allowing the “bugs” in your fuel to fester, the CTS recirculation system tackles the issue at the root cause, giving you assurance that your equipment is free from the damage and downtime fuel contamination can cause.
Recirculation units are most commonly installed at tank manufacturer stage due to the pipework required to fit it.
