Demand for AdBlue™ Growing in The Agricultural Market

Thu, Nov 29, 2012

With the new generation of agricultural machinery utilising AdBlue™ to reduce their CO₂ emissions, farmers and agricultural contractors’ need for AdBlue™ is rising.

Manufacturers such as Fendt, Ford New Holland, Case, Valmet, McCormick and Massey Ferguson now using AdBlue™ in their tractors and machines, which is why AdBlue™ tank manufacturers and equipment resellers are experiencing a steady growth in enquiries from the agricultural market.

With the introduction of the Euro VI next year, it is likely that this will further boost AdBlue™ demand from farmers. Our Suzzara Blue range of AdBlue™ equipment is suitable for all agricultural AdBlue™ requirements.

For smaller tractors with AdBlue™ tanks of around 25-30 litres, farmers are more likely to dispense from a drum. Most popular amongst the industry proves to be our Portable 12v AdBlue™ Pump Kit, which is a ready to use solution for AdBlue™ dispensing. This is ideal for fitting to a drum of AdBlue™ out in the field where there is only battery power available. Alternatively, a cost effective AdBlue™ hand pump may be selected.

For larger tractors, combines and forage harvesters that can have AdBlue™ tanks of up to 120 litres, a tank, bowser or IBC is more often used. The Electric IBC AdBlue™ pumps are more widely used for this application.
