A Handy Guide to Our Site

A user friendly and easy to navigate website was one of the first tick boxes on our new website checklist, and we have taken a lot of time to ensure it’s just that! To make sure we don’t fall at the last hurdle, we have made this introductory guide that will give you a tour of the new CTS site and all of its useful tools.

Finding what you need

We’ve all been there when you’re looking for something on a website and annoyingly can’t find it, so we appreciate how important it is for our products to be easy to find. As well as being able to locate products by their category in the side menu, you can also use the search tool at the top of the page.  This allows you to search for products by their name, product code or by relevant keywords - making sure that even if you only have a snippet of information about a product, you should be able to find what you need!

Each product has its own page, dedicated to providing you with the information you need to make your purchasing decision. As well as detailed product and individual model descriptions, you will also find a number of informative downloads including instruction manuals, catalogue pages, spares lists and product dimensions. If you are looking for a particular download, you could try our product manual search tool on the homepage – all you need to do is type in the product name!

Another handy tool is our price list button, which you can find at the top of every page. Clicking this generates the latest CTS pricelist - you can print it, save it as a PDF or most usefully, save this to your 'favourites' bar. Doing this will give you constant access to our live, and most up to date prices at a click of a button! For those of our customers who only require prices for a certain product section, you can find a compact pricelist at the top each section page!

Ready to start buying?

Once you have found the product you are looking for, add it to your cart! If the product has more than one model and you already know which version you want, then you can use our quick selection to the right of the product image. However if you need more information, you can read on and view the product model table, where you can also add the product to your cart.

Now it’s for perhaps your least favourite part…paying! Once you have collated your order by adding all the required items to your cart, you can begin the checkout process by clicking on the trolley icon in the top right hand corner.

After confirming your order and selecting your delivery option, you will be asked to proceed through the guest checkout or to enter your email and password to log in (we will come to this in a moment). If you wish to place your order as a guest, then following entering your contact details and delivery address, you need to select a payment type. For customers with a trade account, you can select the ‘pay by account’ option, where you will be required to enter your account number.

At the end of the guest checkout, you will be asked whether you wish to save these details for next time. This creates a log in for you, which you can use in the future to save you having to enter your details and delivery address again.

Upon completion of the checkout process, you will receive email confirmation and our sales desk will receive your order for processing.
