About the product
The Piusi Premium Rotary Manual AdBlue™ Pump is specially designed for the transfer of AdBlue™ (DEF) from an IBC, where there is no access to power or where the quantity dispensed is not high enough to warrant a more expensive electric pump.
Thanks to its careful design and Italian construction, this Piusi pump has a higher specification compared to other AdBlue™ hand pumps on the market in several ways. Benefitting from a Stainless Steel outer casing as opposed to plastic, this Piusi AdBlue™ pump kit is more durable, giving it a longer life span. It also has a much smoother operation for the user thanks to its rolling hand grip and quality internals.
Designed specifically as an AdBlue™ IBC pump, this IBC plate mounted kit comes complete with suction and delivery hose, with swivel dispensing spout with on/off valve to close off the hose to prevent dripping. This kit is able to fitted to top or lower IBC bars, which makes it ideal for applications when the IBC is on a bund and fitting the AdBlue™ transfer pump to the top bar would be too high up to operate.

Can I just use a diesel pump to refill my vehicle with AdBlue?
No! You should strictly only ever use equipment designed for use with AdBlue, as these will be constructed of compatible materials such as stainless steel and polypropylene. AdBlue will cause many materials to corrode e.g. cast iron, which most fuel pumps are manufactured of. This will not only cause your pump to fail but will also contaminate the AdBlue which must be kept completely pure to ensure there is no damage to the vehicle’s SCR system.
