About the product
The Oil Tally domestic heating oil meter is designed to count the amount of fuel oil/kerosene that has been consumed, primarily in domestic heating oil tank applications. Thanks to its 360 degree rotating face and ability to be fitted in a horizontal, vertical or inclined position, this domestic oil meter is very flexible in its installation. These compact fuel flow meters come as standard with 10mm compression fittings and benefit from a low pressure drop design.
Please note: If being used with HVO, the meter should be re-calibrated based on it's SG of 0.78 (diesel is 0.84).

I am looking for a heating oil meter, do I need to match the inlet/outlet to the pipework size?
No, it is a common misconception that the choice of oil meter depends upon the size of the pipework installed. This is because oil heating engineers are commonly over-specifying the supply pipe size, thinking that they will achieve a better flow rate by doing this. Generally speaking, as long as the flow rate requirements of the system match that of the domestic oil meter, then it should be fine.
