Hydrostatic tank level gauges for fuel tanks
Within our fuel tank level gauge range we have a number of hydrostatic gauges. Popular for measuring the level of fuel in a commercial diesel tank, these accurate pneumatic gauges rely on a plunger for operation. As well as percentage reading models, we also have calibrated hydrostatic tank content gauges available that are adjusted to the specific tank’s dimensions and provide a volume reading. For a calibrated model, customers are required to complete a questionnaire that is then sent off to the factory for calibrating at the manufacturing stage of the fuel tank gauge.

FAQs
Calibration is key to obtaining accurate measurements of quantity for your hydrostatic tank gauge. Without accurate calibration, even the best gauging systems and the most accurate manual measurements are of little value. If you require a calibrated hydrostatic tank gauge, complete a questionnaire for us to send off to the factory at the manufacturing stage.
Hydrostatic tank gauges work as a continuous measurement method and measure the pressure at two sensors, which are a known distance apart in the tank. The temperature between the two pressure measurement points is also measured.
