Fuel theft round up for 1st March - 31st March

Farmers are being warned and asked to remain vigilant after theft of diesel from farm machinery in the area.

The warning comes after 150 litres of diesel were stolen from a tractor on a farm in Dromin at the weekend.

The incident which occurred just outside of Dunleer, is thought to have taken place between 11pm on Saturday 27th February and 7am on Sunday 28th.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dunleer Garda Station.

6 March – Lincolnshire Echo

Tractor diesel has been siphoned from a farm on Leaveslake Drove in West Pinchbeck. It is thought that the thief got to the fuel after breaking the lock on a container. Police are urging farmers nearby to check their fuel tanks to ensure they haven’t been targeted too.
