Wales – 9th July

A victim of fuel theft is offering a cash reward to anyone who can help locate the thieves that stole 1000 litres of diesel from his agricultural machines.

Eric Thomas who runs Llŷn Plant Hire is a contractor and is furious after thieves targeted his machinery on farm land in Boduan. Around 1000 litres of diesel were stolen from a total of five vehicles, including a JCB and a tractor.

Mr Thomas, of Sarn, is determined to find the thieves and hopes that his cash reward will encourage witnesses to come forward.

Lincolnshire – 16th July

An attempted fuel theft in Grantham was left in a mess after thieves left a large gash in a heating oil tank, causing a large amount of heating oil to spill out onto the ground.

The incident took place at Folkingham Road in Pickworth.

PCSO Barbara Mooney of Grantham Rural North Policing Team has asked that if anybody has any information on the incident, to contact 101 and quote the incident number 394 of 13/07/15.

Derbyshire – 23 July

Police are appealing for witnesses after two crimes have taken place in a South Derbyshire village.

Red diesel was stolen from a tank at a farm near Etwall, sometime overnight between Tuesday 14th July and Wednesday 15th July.

Police believe that a vehicle is likely to have been used and therefore parked nearby. The crime reference number for this incident is 29860/15.

In a separate incident, a tractor was damaged between 9:30pm and 10pm on Thursday 9th July in Sandypits Lane, Etwall. The crime reference number for this incident is 29339/15.
